Following on from the Nostalgia series and the Untitled 2014 collages,
this Plumes series explores an interface between paint and collage.
As paint begins to creep into the work, the fetishised brush-mark
intersects the flat panel of magazine colour in these ambiguous forms
that could be exploding or imploding, falling apart or coalescing.
